TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALL GAME!!!

That's right. Greg won tickets to a Rockies baseball game last weekend. He only won 4, so we took Jo and Lane. The little ones stayed with grandma. We drove up on Saturday morning so that we could get there early. We decided to stay the night Saturday night, because the game the night before went until around 10:30 or 11:00 and we didn't want to get on the road that late. We stopped off at the hotel on the way to the game and decided to ride the train to the field and avoid the traffic all together. Talk about hics.

Buy tickets for train

Dad...what can I say

No comment. We all love Dad!

Some Family Time

I have been so busy, that I haven't had time to get this updated in a long time. I'm at the computer most of the day, but it's at the pharmacy and I don't get to work on this as much as I would like to. I have some pictures I have needed to get posted so that Ryan and Kory could see what we still look like. I'm trying to catch up on some needed information. Some of these pictures are when we went to Texas in March. Just wanted to spend some time kickin' it with the Kings. Then they came down around Easter for Keith's brothers wedding and reception. We got a double dose of them. Love it.

Ryan is still in Harlem at:

He says you can still send stuff to the mission office, it may be better that way. :)

Kory's address in Chile:

O’higgins 940, oficina 502
Concepción, Chile

Kory arrived on Tuesday after about 23 hours of travel. Great time for a photo opp. I'ld show you all, but I can't get the images to load. I'm sure Kory won't mind. :)

Catchin' Up

Where has the time gone? Life was going along at the average Williams' pace and then Ryan left for his mission and we shifted into high gear. The celebration, then Kory's call and November came before we were ready. Christmas...New Year...and January is a week from being over. You know how you get when you are going a little too fast and you take your foot off the accelerator and you coast for just a little while and your speed begins to slow...I took my foot off and it was like we hit the slope coming down from La Manga Pass coming into HORCA. There was no decrease; just keeps speeding up.
November, I'm not even sure we had a November. I do remember having birthday cake and then leaving for Provo.

Dad and Kory walking into the MTC. Daddy and daughter...made mom cry.

Kory...always a ham.

Three of our beautiful blondes.

Our Thanksgiving Dinner was the smallest ever.
We didn't even have to put the extension in the table.

Christmas was great. We had Jamie, Keith and the kids here for 2 weeks. It's always good to have them home. I look forward to the day when maybe they aren't so far away and a visit is not such a task.

Settin' up the tree.

Austin hanging the lower branches.

Lane trimmin'.

Our two missionary snowmen.

Sittin' on Santa's lap.

Austin, too. Looks pretty serious.

Conner has a little ham in him, too.

Wayne, Debbie, Deslie, Randi, Jordan and Travis came over on Christmas Eve and played The Great Dalmutie. (don't know how to spell it). Teri, Greg, Blair, Derrick, Alisha and Clint came by, too, but they weren't here for the big game.

Dad was it the grand master or 1st Great Dalmutie.

Notice the crown.

Santa came by.

Ryan called and it was so good to hear his voice. We talked for about an hour. Heck, it takes that long just to say hi with our family. He is doing great and really loves his mission. He tells us New York is the greatest. He is still in Harlem and lives above some famous "Sylvia's" restaurant. I had never heard of it until one day we had the television on and heard that Caroline Kennedy was eating there while she was still considering the open Senate seat. Don't really care about the Kennedy so much as it was neat to hear the name of the restaurant where Ryan lives. We have noticed that our ears perk up a bit when we hear the words "New York" anymore.

New Year's Eve brought Lane's 14th birthday and new goals and me being able to say "My kids will be home from their missions next year."

Kory's Address

Sister Kory Williams
MTC Mailbox #320
CHI-CON 0119
2005 N 900E
Provo, UT 84604-1793

GEE! Life has been busy!

What a week! Birthdays, baptisms and blubbering! Devyn had her 8th birthday, Jamie had her 25th, Kory turned 22 in the MTC, and Kris had her 21st again.

Saturday and Sunday were very busy. Kory went to the temple, had her farewell, Birthday Party at Grandma Thomas', then Devyn was baptized. Right after that, President Barr came to the baptism and set Kory apart as a full-time missionary.

Monday we left for Provo. We spent most of the day Tuesday running around Orem and Provo looking for Kory's missionary goodies Then on Wednesday Kory officially began her year-and-a-half adventure in Chile.

Halloween Time!

Hey everyone!! Well it's been awhile! But here are a few of the pictures from our Halloween! Hope you enjoy them!!

Kory had three different Halloween costumes this year...for the ward "Trunk or Treat" she was Mario and her friend Erin dressed up as Luigi!

Then for her young single adult activity her and her friends were the Jamaican Bobsled team!

Then for her actual Halloween party the same group of girls dressed up as the Ninja Turtles! I guess you could say that she fit enough into this Halloween to make up for the one she will miss next year!

This is at the ward "Trunk or Treat" again. Here is Devyn with a some of her best friends Jacy and Madison.

Still at the ward "Trunk or Treat"! Austin was Robin and his friend Mason was Batman!! What a coincidence! I honestly didn't even catch on to that until I was typing it out. :)

Austin and Devyn before they went out Trick or Treating on Halloween!

Lane, Devyn, and Austin carved some pretty awesome pumpkins!!

Mom and Dad both dressed up as doctors! Well maybe dad is the doctor and mom is the nurse??

And last but not least...JoAnna dressed up like Vinny for Halloween! Haha!!
